The Noise You Miss at a Showing, But Hear at 9pm

A showing is the quietest a Colorado home will ever be, most of the time: midday, doors closing softly, no one cooking next door. The sound you actually live with shows up after dinner, when neighbors are home, traffic patterns shift, and you're trying to unwind. You see it in listing descriptions, community brochures, and casual conversations with friends, usually paired with words like easy, simple, or carefree. But once you’ve dealt with your first snowstorm, spring hail, or surprise exterior repair, you realize the phrase means very dif
