Living in Centennial, CO Versus Littleton, CO

I'm Brian Lee Burke, and I've been a REALTOR since 2003. Centennial and Littleton sit side by side south of Denver, and over the last year the median home sold for exactly the same price in both: $650,000.The differences are in what's for sale, which city you're actually in, taxes, water and rail. Here's how they compare, using MLS data I pulled on October 29, 2026 and official city and county so

19 Things to Know BEFORE Moving to Littleton, CO

I'm Brian Lee Burke, and I've been a REALTOR since 2003. If Littleton is on your list, this is what I'd want a friend to know before buying here.Littleton is one of the older suburbs south of Denver, with a historic Main Street, light rail and miles of river trails. A Littleton address is also one of the most confusing in the metro: it covers far more ground than the City of Littleton, across thr

The Noise You Miss at a Showing, But Hear at 9pm

A showing is the quietest a Colorado home will ever be, most of the time: midday, doors closing softly, no one cooking next door. The sound you actually live with shows up after dinner, when neighbors are home, traffic patterns shift, and you're trying to unwind. A simple 10-minute evening test catches most of what a daytime tour misses. Most showings happen during the day, when a home sits empty

Future-Proofing Your Move: Ranch vs. Two-Story Homes on the Front Range

If you’ve lived on the Front Range for any length of time, you know this isn’t just a floorplan debate. Colorado weather, daily routines, and how a home actually feels to live in tend to expose small design choices pretty quickly. A ranch can feel like a deep exhale. A two-story can feel like extra space—until it starts feeling like extra friction. The goal here isn’t to push one style over the o

How to Choose the Right Home Style in Colorado (A Practical Decision Guide)

But in Colorado, the people who end up happiest in their homes usually didn’t decide that way. They narrowed their choices based on how they actually live—and what they don’t want to deal with anymore. This guide isn’t about ranking home styles or pushing you toward a par

But once you’ve dealt with your first snowstorm, spring hail, or surprise exterior repair, you realize the phrase means very dif
