Newlands was not built all at once. The neighborhood includes prewar homes in the Newland Addition and a larger wave of construction after World War II, so two houses on the same street may have very different starting points.
Year built is only the first clue. For an older home, compare the original footprint, permitted additions, major-system updates, and use of the lot.
Newlands extends toward the east side of Mount Sanitas, with neighborhood trail access at Linden Avenue and 4th Street. A home near those western streets may be closer to the trail network, while one farther east connects more directly to the rest of North Boulder.
If both locations appeal to you, the route you expect to use most may be a better tie-breaker than another small difference in square footage. To widen your search, browse Boulder homes for sale.
Kenna Real Estate Group can help you compare a Newlands home's age, renovation history, lot use, and position within the neighborhood.
