Harvey Park was built by several postwar builders, so two homes described as mid-century can be quite different. A Cliff May home, a Carey Holiday home, and another ranch-style home may not have the same floor plan, construction, natural light, parking, or basement setup.
If a listing identifies a Cliff May design, look at which original features remain and how they have been updated. Post-and-beam construction, courtyards, clerestory windows, and floor-length windows are among the details that distinguish these homes. Also review the roof, windows, insulation, heating and cooling, and crawl space; their condition can affect comfort, maintenance, and the scope of future work.
Carey Holiday homes were also offered in multiple plans, including versions with optional basements and carports. Compare the original plan with the work completed on the specific property; new finishes alone do not explain which original features or major systems remain.
Riviera Lake and Wolcott Lake are private. A home near the water, or a listing that mentions a lake, does not by itself establish access. If access matters to your search, ask what property-specific documentation shows that it is included.

Kenna Real Estate Group can help you compare a home's design, renovation details, and any lake-access information provided with the listing.
