Overland includes detached homes, duplexes, triplexes, and multi-unit buildings, and they are not spread evenly through the neighborhood. Detached homes are more common on the south side, while multi-unit buildings tend to sit along the main roads.
Many detached homes do not have a driveway. When one of those homes interests you, look closely at the garage, alley access, and available street parking along with the floor plan.
Santa Fe Drive and the railroad run north-south through Overland, with industrial properties concentrated around the rail line. Broadway forms the commercial east edge, while the South Platte River and Overland Golf Course define much of the west side.
Evans Avenue and Florida Avenue cross those north-south routes. The exact address determines which major roads you cross and whether the home sits nearer the Broadway commercial edge, the rail and industrial area, or the river and golf course.
