Perl Mack Manor was built from 1955 to 1959, and by 1958 the developer was using five house models. Most of the original homes were ranches, so the main-level floor plan and above-grade finished area are useful starting points when similar homes come up in your search.
Separate any finished lower-level area from the main-level space when you compare total square footage. This makes it easier to see how much of each home is available on one floor.
Perl-Mack sold its five house models both with and without carports. Covered parking was not standard across the original development.
For a property that interests you, identify the current setup—carport, garage, or neither—and whether an enclosed space was added later. That keeps a later alteration from being mistaken for an original part of the house model.
